Described by Michael Kerr in The Telegraph as "interpreting the world with a roving eye", Paul demonstrated that beautifully in his recent exhibition at Chris Beetles' gallery in London. His paintings and illustrations of London and many other European cities, of the south of France, of New York and Jamaica capture the sun, the bustling streets, the characters and architecture with confidence and elegance.
In some he uses the line and wash style for which he's so well known, but in others a "broader brush".
