Two new books by Jeffrey Alan Love
It's been a busy year for Jeffrey. His own picture book, The Hero's Quest, is out now, and it's a classic. It was designed and produced by the same Walker Books team as the award-winning Norse Myths, and people are already talking about it.
Francesca Simon says: "What an absolutely glorious picture book. Fierce and beautiful, charting its own rich and epic mythology and fantasy. I love it."

Also, his sketchbook, The Mountain of Smoke, reached its Kickstarter target in a matter of hours so there will now be two new books for you to buy.
We've updated his illustration portfolio on here, and you can see some of the images from both books there.

Ian Miller's Grim Tarock cards
Ian has been working with James Sheriff of Brass Monkey Games to make a complete set of very different Tarot cards, and the Kickstarter campaign reached its target very quickly. Here is the box, and a small handful of the cards. Look at the campaign to see the rest of these. More goals are being added so it would be worth checking in on that too.

We've also added some of Ian's original drawings for sale here. These are two from Edgar Allan Poe stories and there are more on the website, including many from Anthony Masters' book, Ivy.

An original Jim Burns painting from Planet Story
It's not often that an early Jim Burns oil painting comes up for sale but we've been contacted by the family of John Spencer, the founder of Young Artists, who first represented Jim when he left art college. Sadly John is no longer with us but his son has offered us one of the most important paintings from Planet Story, Into this Elysian Scene Plunged RRAGG.
Here is the complete painting, with a detail below.
Details on the website.
