The Black Cloud
Commissioned by Penguin Books in London for the cover of the classic book by Fred Hoyle. This is one of the first book covers John produced and unfortunately the inks he used in those days have proved to lack the ability to withstand strong light. However, if hung in low light this is not a problem.
